MG launched the MGB in May 1962 to replace the ageing MGA. Introduced as a four-cylinder roadster initially, a coupé with 2+2 seating was later added in 1965.
Aimed to be a perfect British sports car, the suspension was made softer than the MGA while the bigger engine gave a higher top speed. The overdrive provided an extra oomph too.
This model is made by AIRFIX in 1:32 scale. It was completely assembled by me in a month's time. I loved the small engine with full details. Overall a well detailed car and the first of my AIRFIX series.
