The Jaguar Mark 2 is a saloon car built by the maker from 1959 in England. It came with a 120hp or 220hp engine and was quite powerful in its time. It was carried forward from the Mark 1 but was quite a nice looking car. It had a sister model called the Diamler 250 which came with a powerful V8 engine. Such was the popularity of the Mark 2, that the company launched a new model named 'S' type in the late 2000s which resembled the old design.
This model is made by Maisto and is very old. I got the model from a fellow collector who had it for many years and thus you see the repaint which was damaged over the years. I like the color a lot. It is quite nicely detailed.
