The 300 SL by Mercedes Benz was the fastest production car at the time. It was introduced from 1954 and became famous for the gull-wing doors. A roadster was also available up to 1963. Power came from a fuel injected overhead straight 6 engine. Focus was on aerodynamics and Mercedes even created horizontal eyebrows over the wheel openings to reduce drag.
This model is a Academy plastic kit and is well detailed.
