The El Camino is a pickup truck produced by Chevrolet from 1959 to 1960 and again from 1964 to 1987. It was introduced to compete with the Ford Ranchero and was based on the Chevelle platform. For 1970 it had a 450hp 454cu.in V8 engine which made it a powerful truck. It shared body parts with the Chevelle of that year.
